Square DIP PD Photodiode Receiver for Pulse Oximeter Applications
A high-sensitivity square DIP photodiode receiver designed for pulse oximeters, optical sensing equipment, medical detection modules, and precision photoelectric signal acquisition.
Product Overview
This square DIP PD photodiode receiver, also used as a blood oxygen detection chip, is independently developed and packaged by Jiangmen Yiyang Infrared Semiconductor. It is specially designed for pulse oximeters and optical detection equipment. The product adopts a square light-receiving window with a large-area photosensitive chip, transparent high-transmission epoxy packaging, and gold-plated long leads for stable conductivity. It can be paired with 660nm / 905nm dual-wavelength emitting LEDs to form a pulse oximeter optical coupling module. With high photoelectric conversion accuracy, low dark current, and excellent signal linearity, it is a core photosensitive component for medical oxygen detection and optical sensing devices.

Large Square Receiving Area
The customized square photosensitive chip provides a uniform receiving area and strong consistency for both red and infrared light, reducing sampling errors in pulse oximeters.
Wide Spectral Compatibility
The spectral response covers visible red light and near-infrared bands, making it ideal for use with 660nm + 905nm dual-wavelength emitters in complete oxygen detection modules.
Gold-Plated Long Leads
Fully gold-plated leads resist oxidation and maintain stable solderability during long-term storage, supporting high-yield wave soldering and automated plug-in production.
Low Dark Current, Stable Signal
Precision packaging in a dust-free workshop and optimized chip insulation technology help minimize leakage current and reduce long-term signal drift.
Full-Size Customization
Lead length, bent-lead structure, photosensitive chip size, and spectral response range can be customized for small and portable pulse oxygen detection devices.
Factory Inspection for Batch Consistency
Each product is tested for photocurrent, dark current, and spectral response before shipment, helping ensure consistent performance in mass production.
Core Application Scenarios
- Medical Oxygen Detection Devices Fingertip pulse oximeters, wristband SpO₂ modules, desktop oxygen detectors, and portable monitors.
- Optical Medical & Beauty Instruments Skin detection devices, vein imaging instruments, and non-invasive optical detection equipment.
- Biophotonic Sensing Transmission optical sampling, material spectral detection, and near-infrared analysis modules.
- Industrial Photoelectric Detection Infrared transmission counting, non-contact optical sensors, and optocoupler detection components.
- Home Health Portable Devices Household pulse detection instruments and portable health monitoring wristbands.
Soldering & Usage Notes
- Soldering Standard Recommended soldering iron temperature should be ≤300℃, and each soldering time should be controlled within 3 seconds to avoid damaging the internal photosensitive chip.
- Polarity Identification The two leads are positive and negative. The large internal metal electrode is the negative electrode. Reverse connection is not allowed.
- Module Matching It should be used together with 660nm red light and 905nm infrared emitting diodes. Optical path alignment is important for stable transmission sampling.
- Storage Conditions Store in a dry, light-proof, and sealed environment to prevent gold-plated lead oxidation and long-term epoxy aging caused by sunlight exposure.
